Elyse puts us at ease as soon as she arrives. At times she will offer suggestions for shots and organize people, but it is not invasive and is often welcomed for us awkward people. Elyse is flexible and always open to new ideas. She has always had fantastic communication with me when planning our sessions and always seeks to figure out exactly what we are looking for to make sure she fulfills our desires. She has also helped us a great deal with wardrobes (I've even sent her pictures of my options!).

Elyse has a great turn-around for the images (two weeks, sometimes faster). Every time I receive the email that the album is ready, I get butterflies in my stomach. I recommend Elyse to all of my friends and family. You will not regret booking her!

Elyse is an amazing photographer! She has captured our family a total of four times, each with a different feel; outdoors at a preserve, in the hospital after the birth, our typical weekday evening, and a lazy Saturday morning. She has an incredible eye for catching the moments between the typical shots. One of the most amazing things about Elyse is how at ease my kids feel around her, which is amazing considering my kids both are typically slow to open up to people and struggle to show their natural selves when around people they don’t know. Elyse is able to get natural moments, smiles, and genuine emotions from my little family. Elyse has also been open to every crazy “session” idea I have had, I remember emailing her asking her to follow us around our house one evening (as both my husband and I work outside the home these few hours in the evenings are everything to us), she jumped on board immediately, and those pictures are some of our most treasured photos. I know I will always be able to look back at those moments and remember the little details that made up those nights.

I feel lucky to have been able to watch Elyse grow as a photographer over the years and I also feel very fortunate to now call her a great friend too! Being a photographer myself, my standards are high and I come equipped with a strong vision.
